- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs.
- Add milk and oil and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, and baking powder.
- Add dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until combined.
- Add fresh cheese and mix gently.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking tray.
- Bake for about 35 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a richer texture, add extra cheese.
Do not overmix the batter to keep it soft.
Best served warm with yogurt, sour cream, or kajmak.
