These homemade Balkan slanci are soft, fluffy breadsticks that are even better than the ones from the bakery. They are a childhood favorite snack often packed for school breakfasts or enjoyed warm straight from the oven.
What makes them special is the soft dough combined with a buttery texture and a light salty crust on top. The dough is simple, but the technique of rolling, resting, and baking creates that perfect bakery-style result at home.
They are warm, comforting, and incredibly addictive—perfect for breakfast, school snacks, or sharing with family.
